Crestwood 5. Living here 5 years. Beginning year 2 they started harassing with threat of fines for anything they could think of. Trim down 2 unsightly tree stumps. They fined me for removing trees, tooks months of disturbing communications to straighten out. Side of property had a sand ot overrun with weeks. I worked and spent alot of money to turn it into a thriving garden. The deer destroyed it. I inquired about fencing and according to rules and Regs a fence was allowed as long as it was not permanent, nor a privacy fence or one separating properties. I put up a temporary fence ( after investigating other properties with fencing) and they fined me for this. I informed them I planned on getting a proper fence once I saved up enough. When a portable, non permanent was installed by my Nep
I have lived in crestwood village 2 for 20 years now and after reading some of the reviews I felt the need to write my own. I feel that our village has been slowly falling apart. We have people working in our office that make mistakes and instead of admitting their errors they cover them up. Most recently the monthly maintenance coupon books. The info submitted to the printer was all wrong. From the beginning of our fiscal year to the payment due and late dates. Instead of informing the certificate holders either by robo call or a mail out, or place an explanation in the monthly village voice they did nothing. That left the certificate holders upset and confused and had to call or go to the co op office themselves to inquire as to what is going on. After I spoke with the office manager I w
Judy has single handedly made this the worst experience in my life. My mother had to sell her house to pay medical bills. She personal fought us every single step. You went out of order, you didn't notify us to sell, etc. Hospice was 12k a month. We sold the house and she sat on the paperwork for 60 days. Now she double charged us for the water bill. Unfortunately she was an obstacle the whole process and even thos the house is gone I still have to deal with her nonsense because she over paid the water bill
I've lived in CW2 for 3 year and I've not had a single problem. Everyone in the office has been kind and helpful, but I go there as little as possible. I ask the questions I need to. Sometimes it takes a few people to reach the person who knows the answer or who is in charge of whatever. That's a small cost to pay for a lovely home at a price unheard of in NJ, surrounded by trees and open spaces. As far as dog owners, most are very nice and very responsible. But like everywhere there are some who think it's oK to have their dog urinate on someone's mailbox, or a lawn that might be the pride and joy of that person. If you are a dog owner, you are the one holding the leash . You can train your animal , might take some consistency, to do their business in any one of the open space dotted thr
The villages are beautiful and an oasis of nature. Do not move to Village II. If conditions change, I will modify this review at a later date. As things stand, the co-op board no longer views the village as a co-op: when residents inquire about services that used to be included in the HOA, they are threatened with special assessments or an increase in the HOA. There is currently an attempt to disenfranchise certificate holders from having a say in village business and giving it solely to four people on the board. As much of the value of your certificate resides in your share in the co-op, most of your ability to affect how you live (and the value of your certificate) will be lost. Residents are constantly threatened with new/fake "rules and regulations." The last newsletter even claimed th
