I called to get information on a 1967 Cadillac Deville. Once speaking to the Owner/ sales person, I requested a few more pictures of the car. Being we noticed some rust on the panel of the vehicle, I asked for a few pictures of the undercarriage. At this time he told me the vehicle does have some rust in a spot or two. I asked the cost of potential repairs, he then then told me it could be fixed by them with some tin. I asked about it being fixed professionally and he replied they didn't do that with no information to give me. I also asked if the car ran good and was told it ran fine "down the street". I'm the dad who received the vette! It's the gift that keeps on costing! So far one year and over $45,000.00 to repair. The car would not come close to passing an inspection. A brief list that the dealer and the local appraiser missed. Starting from the bottom up: the wrong Chevy wheels so the hub caps fall off over 35 mph. New tires, plenty of tread but dry rotted. All the suspension worn out and needed replacing. Second gear in the transmission was blown. Car needed to be almost totally rewired. All new brake lines. The heater and defroster missing distribution box and controls. Windshield wipers missing motor and transmissions. The windshield not installed in frame correctly. I bought a 1967 chevelle for 44,900 it was delivered. Can't drive it more than a mile due to a badly rusted gas tank. Bill said he'd buy me a new tank and sending unit. 300 dollars and still waiting on tank been waiting 2 months
