On December 23, 2025, I contacted a Dodge dealership to have the ABS module replaced and reprogrammed under Recall 24V-838 / FCA Recall 94. The service manager, Chrissy, scheduled my appointment for December 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM, assuring me that the work would be performed free of charge and would take no more than two hours. At the scheduled time, I brought my vehicle to the service department. However, after only 30 minutes, the vehicle was returned to me with the explanation that a paid diagnostic was required, and that the estimated repair cost could range from $3,000 to $5,000 or more, as the staff claimed that “many issues” had been identified during the inspection. We had a very pleasant experience buying our minivan. Joe Leopold was a great salesman. He showed us what we wanted to see and did not hassle us with phone calls when we took a couple days to decide. I think at 7:30 in the morning employees can communicate with the customer instead of just walking around the car taking pictures. I have a job to get to also and would like to be told what's going on. Than when I pick up my car and want to pay am informed that they don't take checks, but the lady that said that couldn't point out any visible sign. And I don't look for sign. Can't be to old because the guy that was helping didnt know that either. Not to quick to return unless what needs to be fixed is under warranty
