Dave's Mobile Mechanics

The front right wheel nearly popped off on my 1995 Ford E350 RV and had to pull over to a pull off. Turns out my spindle was damaged and needed to be replaced. I reached out to Dave and he went above and beyond to help me get back on the road! The town doesn’t have Uber or taxi services so he was nice enough to drop me off at a motel for a few nights. He also notified the sheriff’s office about my RV being stuck at the pulloff so that it won’t get towed away. Dave drove a 3 hour round trip to pick up the new spindle and worked overnight to get it reinstalled. As busy as he was, he put off other jobs to prioritize my RV since he knew I was in a dire situation. I 100% recommend Dave if your vehicle breaks down near Council, ID! He truly cares about his customers!

we had a great experience with Dave. We broke down in the parking lot of Brundage ski area. It was 20° out but Dave came to our rescue. He did an excellent job repairing our van in tough conditions. He’s really competent and also really honest. what more could you ask for? A++

My fiancée and I are from SC and we have been traveling in our 85 Winnebago motorhome for 4 months. We were in Idaho headed to Elk City when the transmission went out. We couldn’t have been stranded in a better town. Not only did the people of Council welcome us, but we also found Dave who treated us like family and was able to get us back on the road in a matter of days. His rates are more than reasonable. Not only did he replace the transmission, but he also tightened up some other issues he noticed. Dave is genuine and I literally can’t say enough good things about him and his knowledge/experience/professionalism. My family broke down in New Meadows on a Sunday. All mechanics were closed except for Dave's Mobile Mechanics. Dave is very friendly and responsive. He picked up an alternator and drove to use where we broke down to take care of the issue. If it were not for Dave's services, my family would have been stranded. We are very appreciative of his help and professionalism.
