I am splitting my rating. The owner Rick and receptionist Whitney are very polite. I have nothing negative to say about either of them or the business itself. The salesman however, another story. The business itself isn't bad and the vehicles are nice. The particular vehicle I was looking to purchase had a light on and I asked for my mechanic to look at. In the end, I simply just wasn't comfortable purchasing the vehicle. The owner was fine with that. If you don't want something, you don't want it. However, the salesman Tyrone showed off really bad. He called me telling me my mechanic was a liar and didn't know what he was talking about. He called back again to tell me to bring him his truck back which he knew I was on the way back. I spoke to Whitney at length about a pickup they were selling. We spoke for 2 days about it. I drove an hour and 45 minutes from Lexington with the intention of purchasing the truck. I get to the lot to test drive and the tires are almost bald (dangerously low tread), a check engine light is on, one speaker worked in the cab, and the touch screen didn’t respond to touch. None of these things were disclosed to me prior to driving that far to purchase the truck. They read the code and it was a catalytic converter code and I was told “the cats are clogged, you probably just need to get on it and blow them out”. I politely said, Nah I’m good. They didn’t try to discuss the price options or anything. They just thanked me for coming out. This isn’t a good way of doing business in my opinion, es
