I was referred to Desert Diesel Repair by a neighbor. I met Danny and we discussed intake and exhaust options for my truck. He answered all my questions and gave me a great quote. Started work that day and I had my truck back within the week, freshly detailed, too! The truck ran great until I had transmission trouble a few months later. I got the truck back to Danny and went over my options. I chose to go with a built transmission and he once again, gave me an excellent quote for the work. It took 5 weeks for the transmission to be built and shipped, during which I got periodic updates. When it finally came in, I was told it would be done in 3 days. Danny called me 2 days later and said it was ready to pick up and getting detailed! The truck runs perfectly! I’m overall extremely happy

Desert Diesel has always been my go to diesel shop. Danny and his guys are always timely, reliable and most importantly HONEST diesel technicians. I wouldn’t take my truck anywhere else. Highly recommend DDP always for any diesel work needed.

I can't speak to the work of this shop (wished we could have!) but really disappointed in our experience. Called Monday and made an appointment for Thursday for a fuel tank replacement. Dropped off vehicle and never received a call with an update. Called end of day Thursday and was told "We need the truck until noon tomorrow". No problem. Noon rolls around next day, no call with an update. Called, texted no response. Had a feeling and decide to drive to the shop. Truck sitting in the same spot we left it in the parking lot with an expensive fuel tank in the back. It's really frustrating to wait for an appointment, be told "we need a little more time" to find out it was a lie and the truck was not even looked at.
