4900 Peachtree Rd, Chamblee Georgia location had excellent staffing and ran that location like a NASCAR Team with a highly motivated Pit crew. They got car's in and out with precision and care. I have never seen staff changing tires running to and from vehicles. Great supervisors at this location who keep their employees motivated. I highly recommend this location. It may look busy and packed, but they will have you in and out before you know it.

I called this discount tire location and had an appointment schedule for 4 brand new pirelli tires at 8:15am. These tires I was told had to be ordered and would arrive Wednesday. I had an appointment for the next day at 8:15am. The next day, I walked into the building and was assisted my one of the employees who had asked me several questions, one of which was, why do you want to replace the tires on your car? This should not matter, I asked for a service and am paying for a service and should be obliged. I was checked in after the young man checked all four tires and told me that the tire installation will be done at 9:09am. I ordered tires from them on Wednesday and made an appointment for Friday at 8:45am. They told me that if my tires didn’t come in before then, they’d call me so I would have a heads up. Thursday afternoon came and not a peep. I called to just double check and sure enough, only 1 tire came in and no one called me. I rescheduled my appointment to 1:15pm the next day. I dropped the car off 30 mins before my scheduled 1:15pm appointment. When I dropped it off, I expressed that I needed the car back in an hour and asked if that was possible. I hit a median that damaged/destroyed my rear left tire and went to Discount Tire to have the tire replaced. On my way there, with just a tiny spare tire on my SUV, my GPS stopped working and I got lost. I was distraught at this point and called Discount Tire for directions and Tico answered. He was so patient in directing me to their location. When I arrived, I met Tico and worked with him to service my car. My tire was still under warranty so the cost was minimal. He recommended I get a new spare tire since my current one was almost at its max life. They didn’t have my tires in stock so I had to wait on the tires to arrive from another location. I'm a repeat customer who recently visited the store to purchase a full set of tires and have them installed. I gave the Chamblee store another chance this past Monday (2/16/2026), with slight reluctance due to my previous service experience there a while back. What was an overall satisfactory experience ended with my need to request that my spare tire and cargo bed cover be put back in place as they were when I arrived. This required very little time and effort. It was a very noticeable and obvious issue that should have been addressed without me having to bring it to their attention. The issue was promptly corrected by staff, but with no acknowledgment of the mistake.
