Discount Tire

If I could Rate 6 Stars... I would. Discount Tire in Racine took a very hard situation and made it seamless. I picked tires and wheels for my Japanese import. The tires weren't the right size, so there was grinding happening (of no fault of DT). They ended up replacing my tire with a more expensive better fitting tire. They ended up paying the difference in tire price for the "hassle", eventhough it was a mistake of my own. Lino was an amazing manager and every single person who I interacted with were very professional and great at their jobs. I would recommend this location to anybody and everybody I hear that needs tires. They also offer a military discount!

After purchasing tires online and scheduling my appointment for Monday, I arrived this morning only to find the tires I ordered were unavailable. Instead, I was pitched alternative option, an experience that left me highly disappointed. Despite receiving and confirming text reminders several days in advance, up until 7am today, I learned the tires I paid for were “not even on the truck” scheduled to arrive this morning. This lack of communication wasted my time and made me feel that my business was not valued. I have been a loyal Discount Tire customer for over 7 years, beginning in Texas, and was excited to continue that relationship here. Unfortunately, this experience was a major letdown compared to the reliable service I’ve always received in the past. Edit: Thanks for responding Chand

Subject: I paid close to 1000.00 dollars for those tires, I was expecting good service without a headache. Hey There, Hope you are doing well. Anway's, job was almost perfect but made me question if you did everything right. Tread depth was about 8, I check on my device, I use the manual vs that fancy one you guys use. I used a Master force air compressor and a manual psi device to check psi; both gave me the same answer. For those that do not know, as temperature increase the pressure increases and vice versa, that called ideal gas law or physics. For some reason I had 36 psi in the rear end. The recommend tire pressure is 33+-2 standard deviation psi. One of the tires in front are 30 psi, recommended tire pressure is 35 psi+-2 standard deviation. I know you guys did the tire rota

This was not my first experience with Discount Tire, however, this experience involved a safety hazard. Upon returning home I gave my new tire a quick inspection and noticed the my front driver side wheel was missing a lug nut.

I booked my appointment for 4 brand new Yokomann tires with Don at Discount tire on Washington avenue in Racine WI on 1/24. I ended up changing the date online on 1/28 to 1/31/29 at 10:15. I also called discount tire on 1/30/26 and they confirmed that the Yokomann tires were in and they were set for my appointment at 10:15 am on 1/31/26. I was their a little early so I paid for the tires and I was told 11:15 estimated weight time. So I waited but then I was told at 11:50 that the delay was because they only had 3 of the 4 tires in stock because their inventory online was wrong. They offered me an upgrade tire for the same price but it would be another hour plus to weight for them to replace my tires.
