Dollar Car Rental

Car had a cigarette smell that I wasn’t able to get out of the car my 3 days having it. Also had a moldy Tupperware left in it so they didn’t clean it. And I told the front desk I didn’t want insurance, so I believed the price they gave me would be accurate, but turns out she did include insurance. I was in a rush so I didn’t read the fine print and paid for it literally. Just rent from elsewhere or get a Turo.

New Year’s Eve trying to rent a car to go see my daughter after work booked off Priceline express deals meaning I prepayed, get to the place this guy doesn’t even pull my reservation or run my card automatically goes “we don’t accept those cards” it’s a chime CREDIT CARD that I’ve used plenty times before to rent cars no problem. Calls his boss or whoever doesn’t mention it’s a CREDIT CARD who tells him they don’t accept it. Even though the girl sitting next to him said she’s seen it before. Uneducated on company policies horrible service

Rented a 3 row vehicle to fit the family. When I picked up the vehicle the front windows were opened which I found odd but didn't really pay much mind to. On the ride, when my son opened the vents in the third row the car was flooded with the smell of Marijuana. We hoped the smell would dissipate but it only got worse. This is the second vehicle to have this same issue. Last time I caught it when I opened the trunk to put my luggage in. When I returned the vehicle they said "Yeah lots of people smoke weed." This smelled like someone was running a grow room in the vehicle.

DO NOT rent a a car from this Dollar site at PVD. Do not try to right a wrong with the manger Tim as he is more concerned with nickel and diming the customer than providing even minimal acceptable service. I would give a - star if presented with that option.

Reuben, who works at the Providence airport Dollar thrifty Hertz saved my bacon with this Rental Car for electric electricity He deserves a raise because he knows how hard the electric cars are for first time renters!
