This is a fast, friendly, and HONEST shop! My car broke down right by this shop and we pushed it to their lot. They diagnosed my car quickly. Since my car didn't really require much effort to diagnose, due to the way it's made, they didn't even charge me for it like most shops would have. I appreciate their honesty, speed, and friendliness. Definitely visit this shop. It's one you can trust.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I was over an hour away from home heading to a clients home in Goldsboro today when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise from my car and then what sounded like a flat tire. Not a flat tire but Doug Howells was right there at the next exit thankfully! I walked in (total Damsel in Distress not knowing what was wrong) and the technician (I wish I caught his name) came over and figured out quickly that it was the plastic cover to the undercarriage that had come loose and was flapping on the road. He had my car lifted and repaired on the spot and I was back on my way in about 15 minutes! Thank you guys so much for jumping into action so I didn’t lose much time. It might not have been much for you, but it was such a relief for me!

Stop reading reviews and call Doug Howell!! I was told by two different mechanics that I would need a new engine in my work truck after a quick look and that it would cost 10-12k. Dropped it off at Doug Howell and they had it running the same day! Very affordable! Extremely friendly staff and mechanics!! I highly recommend them!

Needed 02 sensors and front struts replaced. I supplied the parts. Everywhere I called wanted between $800 and $1000 dollars or more. Doug quoted me $430. I dropped off my truck and they called and said they couldn't do the struts because they didn't have a spring compressor (almost no one does and it was my fault for buying just the struts and not strut assemblies). Went to pick up the truck and they had replaced the 02 sensors and only charged me $65. I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to go here for repairs.

I had a very bad experience with a local car repair shop and unfortunately had to have my car towed from that shop.
