If I could give zero, I would. This is the worst facility I've experienced. My loved one was there after moving from the adjacent DGNR. The decline experienced while at Saratoga Grove was significant and irreversible. The quality of care was abysmal. My sisters and I were very active in monitoring care and there was always something that we had to complain about. My loved one never had a bed sore before this place and had them constantly while there. They consistently had agency nurses and caregivers who were rude and couldn't (or wouldn't) answer questions. Anytime I went, I was guaranteed to see a caregiver lounging in a chair on their phone while residents were neglected. My mother-in-law was there for a 2 week stay in June. She was very apprehensive about going to an assisted living facility. She said the staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. The staff is willing to work with you. Saratoga Grove will be her permanent residence in September.

Saratoga Grove is a wonderful retirement and assisted living community. I cast a wide net looking for a place my sister would like and our whole family is very happy we found Saratoga. Friendly, professional and caring people combined with facility and services my sister is happy to call home.

It is a beautiful Facility and the entire staff is always so friendly and cheerful. However, on anactivity day in June for baking brownies for the residents the activity was canceled and replaced with ice cream. Several of the residents were disappointed. Why was baking brownies canceled? Explanation given probably too hot for the oven? Upon entering the room for this activity, the oven was on with jalapeno poppers being baked for an employee, for their last day at work. First give to the paying Residents, then to the employees. Also, lunch hours are posted 11-12, so why rush lunch at 10:30. Today, I was supposed to go and share lunchtime with my friend at 11:30. I even called the front desk to inform someone that I would be there at 11:30. I called my friend at 11:10 to assure him th

CAUTION: DO NOT BE CONNED BY THE GREAT SALES PITCH. Our experience was 180 degrees different from what had been sold to us. We stayed for five months trying to get things to the level of care they had promised us but wound up leaving them because of atrocious communications with family members and zero transparency from all concerned. Over time our confidence in the medical staff became very low. The administration of medicines was untimely and at times incorrect. It was difficult to find a nurse and the CNAs, with one or two exceptions, were outright mean to the residents in the Memory Care Unit. The Assisted Living Unit does have different CNAs, but the same management runs both. We were forced to escalate our concerns and experiences to corporate, but the treatment we received
