Absolutely do not go here. Took about 2200 pounds of stainless steel here after spending about 2 hours cleaning 800 to 1000 pounds. Said they would give us 24 cents for the clean and 12 for the dirty. I don't know if these guys were dirty or just idiots because we walked away with 208 bucks. Thats less than if we had dropped everything off unprepared. All the weights were off and when we questioned them the guy had no clue how to read the weight reciept. I've never been so ripped off in my life. If you have large amounts of non-ferrous metals I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. Took forever for them to let us unload as well. The most disorganized scrap yard I've been too.

Absolute terrible customer service. They have some kind of "I have to be an as#%$hole" attitude. Maybe it's the industry. Not really a need for customer service. I drove up there to ask if I could bring my new boat in to get weighed. I asked some of the employees in the office if I could disconnect the boat from the truck in order to get an exact weight (minus the tongue weight). They responded yes. So I drove home, hooked up and returned. Once on the scare I started to disconnect (takes about 60 seconds). I was promptly greeted by some lady in the window yelling at me. She wanted to know why I was disconnecting. I told her. She didn't understand but said I could do anyway. So I started to disconnect and I was greeted by another employee, he stated that I cant disconnect and that I must

Only go here to scrap your steel, easy weigh in/dump off and good price. Better then Dixson, anyway. But if your scrapping ferrous/nonferrous go to Dixson, they pay better and have an easier to read receipt. Not just some guy writing weights and a total. Drayton paid me 10-20% less then Dixson and current scrap pricing, but paid 75% more for steel.

Do not take your scrap here, Tom doesnt know the difference between Clean bright, #1 copper and #2 dirty copper. He ripped me off and when I asked to adjust to correct and make it right, he offered me $20 cash as if I was a drug addict. I will gladly take my business elsewhere

I had a great experience at Drayton Iron. Everyone was friendly, they helped unload all my heavy steal with a Giant Magnet! I suggest taking all your access scrap here you won't regret it!
