Drive Appeal in Anoka

Found the car I wanted from Drive Appeal on Car Gurus with pre-Approval so I scheduled an appointment in the app. Gave Drive Appeal a call and they directed me to the Anoka location. Steve Aldes answered my call and was friendly from the beginning. He had seen the preapproval through his end and informed me the finance company would require a certain amount of money down which I was short. He worked with the finance company to get my down payment requirement lower to meet what I was able to give. When I arrived to close on vehicle, Steve had it ready to go for me to inspect and test drive insuring my satisfaction. Process was smooth from start to finish. I would of given this dealership 5/5 but the car they sold my wife and I had a bad headgasket. Yes I bought the 2008 WHITE LEXUS GX470 that has been at their "service shop" for months. I would of never known if I didnt take it to my mechanic after noticing the car acting weird literally the next day after buying it. Check engine light came on and they told me to take it to a "certified lexus mechanic" which I did and codes were misfire codes and upon doing more diagnosis and looking deeper, the coolant was very dirty and my heater worked when I test drove it but stopped working the day after I drove off the lot. Thats when my mechanic dug more into things and found a leaky waterpump also and heat will not come on no matter what. Dug even deeper and found that this dealership sold me a car

Sales guy was great. Friendly, helpful, and great follow up communication. We went to checkout a few other vehicles, but decided we like their truck and the service that had come with it.... Until we got to the finance manager. He made an error on the paperwork around the downpayment. When we pointed it out, he just tried to bully us into paying it anyway. Just because I CAN pay that amount, doesn't mean I'm going to just because he made a mistake. He proceeded to throw a temper tantrum and toss his hands in the air like a child. Ultimately, we walked away without buying and straight to their competition to buy our new truck, which we love!
