They have always made me feel like family and that comes far and few between at a business. We have lived over here for a few years and needed a car shop closer to us. My car decided to just stop functioning and the quickness and communication was really nice. I then had another silly instance and I deserved a lecturing…they didn’t give me too hard of a time ;) but it made my feel like my uncles or family saying good grief (still fixing the problem in the process) and laughing with me over it! Being a female it can be hard to trust a shop if you aren’t knowledgeable in the skill and they never make me feel less than or stupid for not knowing something about my car and I appreciate that. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with the service that I received at Ed and Dave's. Troy was so very helpful and friendly when I brought my car in via tow truck and he was able to make sure my car was done in the shortest amount of time possible. Kudos to Caleb for working on my car and getting it back to running condition. I will not take my car anywhere else in the future! They are awesome!

I would NOT recommend Ed and Dave's to anyone. I dropped my truck off for a wheel bearing replacement. I felt their quote was high, but had them do the work anyways since it was already there. Within a day or two of driving, the truck developed a vibration, which quickly got worse. After further investigation, the wheel on the hub assembly they changed out was missing 3 lug nuts and 2 wheel studs. It's quite apparent their mechanic never torqued the wheel to spec. I appreciate Ed and Dave's finding me a used wheel since mine was ruined due to their work, but I'm not thrilled they wouldn't cover the added cost I had into wheel studs, lug nuts, and getting my tire changed out onto the rim they provided me. Chris and his crew are top notch. We took our 2000 Jeep there to have some nerf bars installed. He got it up on the hoist pointed out another problem that I have to get addressed. They did a great job on the installation and very reasonable. I will definitely bring my vehicles to him for service again. He is a fellow Jeep guy too. Our truck got a broken ball bearing, leaving us stranded on the highway during a quick road trip to Grand Rapids this week. The towing company recommended Ed and Dave's and took us there just before they closed for the day. Not only was Chris helpful in explaining the potential problem, he offered to get it closely inspected first thing in the morning and then kindly drove us to a nearby hotel for the night. Although their workload was already busy, they were able to find the specialty part required for our truck and get us on the road in less than 24 hours. SO friendly, such top notch service and they went way above and beyond. Highly recommend!!
