It's hard to find someone honest and trustworthy, been going to Hank since he opened and couldn't be more pleased. I feel confident enough to just tell him take a look over the vehicle and let me know if I need to do anything and he has never tried to add on extra services that aren't needed, in fact he's fixed issues where I said.... So that's what that noise was. I've worked with allot of mechanics over the years, Hanks been the best. I won't take my vehicle any where else and refer all my friends to him. He's a great guy to work with!

I have never gotten a car serviced in Grand Rapids in my four years of being here. That being said, I am glad I started with Hanks automotive. Firstly, Hank himself was the man who greeted me at the door. He was kind, very down to earth, and was able to have a good laugh. Secondly, in no part of this transaction did I feel I was being “scammed” or “overloaded with problems to fix”. I had a lot of problems with the car and Hank took it as a priority and got it done within 24 hours. I will forever be a client of Hanks, and I have nothing but kind things to say about the ordeal. The best guy! Super friendly, personable and straight forward with facts! I was recommended to him after trying several shops to diagnose my Jeep's issue. (My co-worker's known Hank his school, so can't get a better recommendation than that can you?) Unfortunately it was one of the worst case scenarios and I opted to get a new engine. I was already super understanding of what the results probably would be, but he delivered the news in the easiest way. After getting the Jeep back, on the way home the fuel line popped off and I was stranded on the side of the road.
