Englands Service Center

I had a check engine light come on on my car. It was scanned at advanced Auto and they told me it was the catalytic converter. Brought it to a shop in Livingston Tennessee and they told me it was going to cost me $1,200 for a new catalytic converter. That was just the part. So I brought it to England's service center, and they cut the catalytic converter off and put a straight pipe. Cost me $35. Car is running fine. Check engine light off. And has not come back on.

Drove 45 minutes to see him after telling him what car I had (09 Acura TSX). Told him i just wanted new muffler section put on, and he told me it was too low to work on, that he didn't even want to fool with it. I offered to drive it on the rack myself (it's been on racks twice this week for other work). He just said nope. He only wants to work on trucks. That's okay, volunteer muffler in Cookeville wanted my business and was glad to work on my car.
