Enterprise Rent-A-Car

John (Amherst, MA) really went above and beyond. It wasn't only exceptional customer service, it is the human being that he is that shines through the retail and corporate role, that probably can't be properly expressed in the typical job evaluation or customer review. Enterprise is beyond fortunate to have him on your team. Our interactions were quick though in my circumstances of losing my car to an accident during a blizzard I really appreciated the care he took to answer my questions and advise me about things involving the extension of my rental by the insurance company and how I would be able to return the rental to the location in CT where I was picking up my new vehicle. I have had many good experiences with Enterprise. I can't think of any negative ones over 20 or so years. This

Very poor customer service at Enterprise. I booked a car online, but at pickup they made me wait an hour, forced optional insurance, and gave me a completely different car without a powered key. No proper communication or adjustment for the delay. Handling was unprofessional and stressful, especially with my kid. Zipcar is far better I’ll never rent or recommend Enterprise again.Good part is Enterprise cars are generally well-maintained and reliable.

Every person at this location on college Street in Amherst helps to make my experience outstanding. I have rented Enterprise cars in nearly every state and many countries and the service I get here still stands out. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I needed to rent a car while mine was protractedly stuck in a body shop being repaired. This ultimately involved numerous rental extensions (insurance company covering the rental wasn't great at communicating), a rental car switch when I requested to upgrade to a slightly better car, and a complicated/last minute/rescheduled vehicle drop off at a geographically closer enterprise location. Tom at the Amherst Enterprise location expertly guided me through the entire process, and was considerate, communicative (in a timely fashion) and resourceful with various options and ideas. It is equal parts refreshing and (increasingly) rare to witness and receive customer service at this exceptional level. I would recommend using this Enterprise location to anyone who needs a rental.

A very helpful set of people (and very conveniently located right next to the mechanic I was using). They helped me figure out a rental while my car was in the shop, and even replaced the rental for me when I discovered the original car had some unexpected issues! (The previous user smoked in the car, hardly the fault of the employees). They were highly responsive and answered all questions I had.
