Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Zipeng Chen is a horrible general manager. He is rude and lacks decent customer service. I am a student at UC Berkeley and have been renting from this branch for the past two years to travel home and come back for the semester. He claimed that I was responsible for the misalignment of the quarter rear panel. When I tried to show him the video of the inspection he didn't bother to look through the whole video and got defensive claiming that the other side had a similar issue. He started to raise his voice and was constantly cutting me off and when I told him to calm down he slammed the car keys on the trunk screaming for me "to leave his branch". **Keep in mind I just came back for the 2026 Spring semester. Classes start today and this was totally uncalled for *** When I came in today he

Marie was incredible, from initial phone contact all the way through every step of the rental. She also helped calmly and even warmly ameliorate a miscommunication between her colleague (Joseph?) and me. Her wise intervention behind the scenes led to his seeking me out to apologize profusely, then thank me for my own kindness. I thanked him in turn for his, and gave him a sincere hug, straight from the heart. It was the perfect northern CA experience! I hope Marie and Joseph / her colleague read this note. I look forward to seeing them again on future trips!

I rented a minivan for one day. Super easy to reserve online and quick/easy when I got there. I needed an extra hour and the granted it for free. The van was brand new and perfect for my needs. The team was efficient and kind. The space was clean and pleasant. Definitely renting there again.

The customer service out of the shattuck location was top notch from beginning to end and even beyond. I want to give a shout out to both Trent and Joseph. They were extremely efficient, professional and very approachable. After returning my rental from a week long car repair, I forgot to obtain my work parking sticker aka permit from the windshield and by the time I realized, it had already been issued to a new renter. The staff made effort to call the new driver each time I anxiously called in hoping I could get this sticker back. It was ultimately Jospeh who obtained my sticker on my behalf in mid-rental saving little ole me $150 bucks. A huge and humble thank you for going above and beyond.

Phenomenal service and care at this location. After a nightmare car accident and insurance claim, this place was a true diamond in the rough. Thank you, Joseph, for your incredible support and kindness throughout this process!
