Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Not happy at all, I believe I’m done with Enterprise. I recently had a NO FAULT accident and insurance accepted a $60 a day comparable vehicle to my 2023 Lexus RX, instead they started taking my deposit of $100 and tried to put me in a small Nissan sedan, why am I paying high premium for a $60 dollar rental if they can put you in whatever they have. After I was disappointed with the selection they told me they had an Audi SUV and the other agent asked if I can pay, I’m like what? What am I paying for? He didn’t explain at all! I told him I already paid the deposit but then he said you have to pay more. Had they known what i have for a rate they should have put me in something comparable to $60 a day and I would have paid up front for the deposit whatever it was. No explanation at all. No

I had a great experience with Enterprise while my car was being repaired. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful, and the rental process was quick and stress-free. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Enterprise location. My rental was arranged through insurance after someone hit my car. Enterprise confirmed I would be picked up at 8:00 AM, but they didn’t show up until 8:45 AM, which made me late for work despite calling them twice in advance to keep everything on schedule. When the representative handed me the car, the interior immediately smelled strongly of marijuana. I initially assumed it was from the employee’s clothing, but the smell remained just as strong after work. Several people confirmed that it smelled like someone had smoked inside the car with the windows closed. Due to a lack of full-size car availability at Boston Logan Airport, I reserved a vehicle at the nearby Chelsea location (under two miles away). I appreciated the lower off-airport rates, which made the extra effort worthwhile. However, upon arrival, the experience fell short of expectations. Despite reserving a full-size car, I was only offered a compact SUV — one that unfortunately had a very strong smell of smoke. While the staff at the counter were courteous, I found the employee somewhat dismissive of my concern about the odor, suggesting it would fade (it didn’t). With no other vehicles available and a need to stay on schedule, I reluctantly accepted the car. I had a really disappointing experience with Enterprise. When I asked about upgrading to a bigger car, the staff gave me nothing but attitude, as if I was asking for a favor instead of paying for a service. I wasn’t being rude — I just needed more space — but they acted annoyed and dismissive the entire time. I’ve rented from other locations before with no problem, but this one clearly needs a refresher on customer service and basic respect. Definitely won’t be recommending their services.
