Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Had to swap a defective Hyundai on day 2 of a 5 day KCMO stay. I went to this location because it was closest. The store had just been overrun with returning customers, walk-ins, etc. Alec was the only one running the front, with a helper taking people to their rentals. He calmly addressed each new person, told them it would be a moment, then cranked out reservations as quickly as possible with a quiet calm that set the tone for the waiting room. Kudos to Alec B, Assistant Manager, for staying calm and getting his customers taken care of. I ended up waiting about 20-25 minutes so you know they were busy.

These folks are great to work with. Good customer services. I never have to wait too long and they have always been able to provide me with the type of cars that I want when I need them. Their center is located in a very convenient location in the Northland not far from where I live. It's easy to get to when I need to but, of course, I have them pick me up and drop my off whenever I have the chance. They also work with local body shops, which is nice when your need for a rental is because of a fender bender. :-)

Got a rental due to being in an accident, continued to be charged well after the car was dropped off and when reaching out to get an itemized receipt I was met with silence. Reached out through email and phone was patched to another location where the enterprise member was helpful but unsure as to why these charges continued to be added. Friendly team but if its my choice I will not be renting from Enterprise ever again.

I made a confirmed reservation with this location, only for them to call me the morning of my pickup to say they had no cars available. How does a rental company not know this before the day of? It defeats the entire purpose of making a reservation. Their last-minute scramble left me with zero options and a disrupted schedule, and they offered nothing to help fix the problem. No alternative car, no assistance, no compensation, nothing. Just a “sorry” and good luck figuring it out on your own. The staff member I spoke with was very apologetic, but still offered zero alternatives aside from checking out other rental companies. If you value reliability, don’t waste your time here. I am overall satisfied with my experience. I had a couple issues that resulted in me having to switch vehicles such as an engine issue. I brought the Ford edge back and was promptly given a more reliable ride ; Toyota camry. Jaiden was happy to help me. After that, I did have an issue with tire pressure, as the two front tires didn't have caps for the air valves. I solved the issue on my own due to the problem being so small, but it was a bit agitating to be honest. I had the car for about 2 weeks until my actual car was fixed.
