Enterprise Rent-A-Car

My car was wrecked and had to get a rental while it was being repaired. Had the car for 3 weeks. Was charged $234 in tolls when it would normally cost $60. Talk about a price gouge. No one tells you that when you rent the car so a heads up on that would have been awesome. I talked to their toll people and they couldn’t even provide me with a proper receipt that shows the charge of each toll. Just a total of the bill. They also said I had 60 toll crossings. Maybe 30 but not 60. But again they couldn’t provide me a detailed receipt. Other than that no other problems.

I had a great experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I was traveling with family members who have physical disabilities, and the team made sure I got the exact vehicle we needed. They listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. Axle and De'Asia were professional, accommodating, and very pleasant to work with. Their outstanding customer service made our trip much easier and stress-free. Highly recommend!

One-star is generous. To be fair, the employees are friendly and prioritize customer service. The manager on duty was focused and competent. She could and should find a better place to work. The entire car rental industry collectively only has a rating of 2 by my standards. If you are directed to go here by your insurance company they will put you in the most expensive car on the lot even if you tell them you want something similar to what you normally drive. The facility is a dump. Be careful not to turn your ankle in one of the many potholes in the overcrowded lot.

My car was burgled and vandalized on my birthday weekend of 9/15. I went to the Western Branch location were I was not pleased with the service at all. I did reservation, expected a pick up and they were a no-show. They had no record of my reservation and no car available. I called the Portsmouth location and God bless Cameron, he was so empathetic to my situation. I got down to the Portsmouth location where De-Asia helped process me in no time. Their customer service was impeccable. Twenty minutes later, I'm in my rental car and on my way to work. The Western Branch location can learn alot from these two young people. My future rental car needs will only be taken care of by the Portsmouth location.

They treated me well on the phone and in person. And accommodated me when I needed to use a different location for a car drop off. Very nice people all the way around.
