I usually pick up my car at the airport, but this time I took the train from Newark Airport to Princeton. And one benefit of getting your car from a location other than the airport is that the rates are often significantly less. The biggest challenge, though, is they often have limited hours, especially on weekends. Fortunately for us, we were picking up and dropping off around noon during the week. This location is about a 10-minute walk from the Princeton train station, so if you have luggage, you’ll be pulling it about half a mile. When we arrived, we were offered an upgrade for about $3 more per day. We opted for the larger car. What I didn’t realize was they still had to clean it.
