Enterprise Rent-A-Car

My mother and I were supposed to pick up a vehicle from this location today. We called this morning to confirm we'd be picking it up around 5 and were informed they may not have a car. We called multiple times to find out what was going on, and were eventually told by someone in a corporate office that Riverhead had then cancelled our reservation and there was nothing they could do to help now. I have now been sitting on hold for over 20 minutes attempting to get in touch with the Riverhead office since I need a vehicle for the weekend, no one has answered. I am now stranded, without a vehicle with my kids for vacation.

Enterprise itself, I don’t consider to be a bad company, But the riverhead location is absolutely insane not even one on one customer service. They multitask between customers. It’s was my first time with this location will never go back. My husband rented a 12 passenger Car two weeks in advance two days before pick up date they called him and informed that he cannot rent the car without a letter of declaration so I went to the office on Thursday a day before our trip to upstate. I asked to switch everything to my name and they told me that everything should be fine that there was no need to switch names I asked again because my husband wasn’t gonna be the one picking up anymore at 12 pm as he requested, but instead, I was gonna pick up at 4:30pm Friday after work and they said that there

I went today, Thursday, March 5th, at 5:30. I had a reservation to pick up a car, but they refused to give it to me. They told me I could pick it up tomorrow at 3:30. I think they need to be more responsible when they give a specific time for when they will deliver a car.

What a wonderful bunch of people working at the Riverhead Enterprise. Such an easy and smooth rental process and experience. I love how they answer the phone and you can speak with a real person! Fantastic communication, friendly and very professional. I will definitely use them again. Jen D

Mike and his team at Enterprise are absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for us and when we had 3 different vehicles we needed this trip, and Mike went out of his way to make sure we were set and things were taken care of. Every time we visit, this Enterprise never fails to amaze us with their warm and kind service, communciation, and just the around experience they provide.
