Enterprise Rent-A-Car

We recently rented a Pacifica from Enterprise and it turned into a nightmare. We were 3 days into our rental when my wife noticed roaches in the vehicle. It was a huge health hazard — we ended up having to throw away all of our personal belongings that were in the car. To make matters worse, it took 3 days and numerous phone calls to get them to come and retrieve the vehicle. The whole time we felt ignored and dismissed by their team. The store manager initially promised we’d get a full refund due to the trouble we’d gone through. But when we followed up, he danced around it, insisting we were free to call his manager ourselves if we wanted it processed. I don’t give any stars !! So I had a few issues, my card was debited several times without my consent, I answered every call when there was a payment required for extension. I requested not to have the previous card charged and I will provide new billing info and enterprise still went against my wishes. Also I returned the car Thursday 10/9 and was charged for having the car til Friday10/10. Which I have pics and videos on the vehicle parked at the location and keeping the receipts to make sure the car was returned the way I received it. Also the same day I notified I will be returning the car I was threatened with being possession of a stolen vehicle. Make sure your rental agreement or rental extensions are made very clear. “Management” will make a “mistake” that will eventually cost YOU, the renter, in the end. We extended a rental for 2 days, and charged $62. We thought that sounded pretty cheap, so we asked the manager twice if that was correct. He blatantly said, YES that’s correct. Fast forward 3 days, we return the rental, and now we’re being charged for their “oversight”..$210. Management should be “eating” that cost. That’s on them.

The employees were great, friendly, honest and professional. So nice doing business with a company that isn't out to squeeze every penny from you. Enterprise is excellent!
