Eriksen Chevrolet Service

I had my silverado in for service and also had a radio problem. They recreated the issue and couldn't find why. They were creating a case with Chevrolet and said they would let me know what the answer was. After 3 weeks hearing nothing I called to find out. I was told the service writer was not in till Monday and would call me then. We'll tomorrow is Thursday and still no call back. I have never had this experience with ericksons before. Getting quite frustrated.

I had an appointment at 7:15, and I didn’t receive any feedback on any diagnostic until I called to verify. By noon, I made a call to find out that more testing would be done when the technician returned from lunch. Another few hours later I called again only to find out that my car would be kept overnight to make sure the issue of moisture wouldn’t return. I called around 9:15 the next morning to check in on the status, and was told everything was good and the car would be cleaned and the paperwork together. Another three hours later, I drove to the location for status. When I got there, the technician went in back to get my paperwork and keys. My 2025 Chevrolet Trax is the fourth vehicle purchased from Eriksen Chevrolet located in Milan, Illinois. No pressure when buying, provided military discount to my husband (Viet Nam Veteran) prior before passing (2017 Chevy Silverado, later a 2019 Chevy Colorado). In addition they honored my husband's retired GM employee discount for both vehicles above in addition to my purchases of a 2017 GMC Acadia and then recently the 2025 Chevrolet Trax. Great company, friendly and knowledgeable sales team in addition to their service department. Rather a vehicle purchased or serviced, Eriksen has beome our one and only dealership to look to.

Unacceptable business practices in service dept. Against the elderly, $3500. For my mother in law to get brakes done on a Malibu (i was quoted $576.)and then $2700. For tires, a sensor and a ziptie on a minivan ( i was quoted $789.) theyre definitely making up for slower car sales on senior citizens

I bought a truck there 2 weeks ago that the heater wouldn’t blow hot air in and brought it in to have the issue resolved. I left a poor review on the all channels I could find because they marked up my car (that I also bought here btw) 66% I traded in on the truck even though they wouldn’t budge on the numbers when trying to negotiate because I though the payment was higher then it should be. Eriksen said the only way they would fix it where it wouldn’t come out of my pocket would be if I took the review down. If they didn’t want what they did to me public knowledge they shouldn’t have done it. Luckily for me I bought a 3 year service plan so if it’s gona cost me $200 for the deductible on the $2600 fix they quoted me I can take my business elsewhere. I have now drove back to dealership tw
