I was recommended to this shop by a friend, and I am more than beyond grateful to have taken my vehicle here. Freddy (and crew) genuinely care about their customers and are straight forward with pricing and relaying issues and what needs to be fixed without trying to gouge or get you to do services that are not needed. Especially being a woman who knows nothing about cars, a lot of places try to overcharge or tell you that you need a lot more done than what is needed. (For example- I was quoted 80% more for the axle I needed at another shop versus what I was charged at F&L) even when they are busy and you speak to Freddy or his son, they have a positive attitude and are friendly. I highly recommend.

Freddy is an excellent and wise mechanic of great integrity. My prior seasoned mechanic couldn’t (or wouldn’t) solve the root issue of my check engine light for a year and a half! He tried several things and it turned out to be the purge valve he had installed in January 2021 that was faulty. All along it was an item under warranty that he had put in causing my car’s dangerous issue. Freddy diagnosed and fixed it for an extremely reasonable price. He didn’t even want me to pay him until after I drove it a while in order to confirm that what he had done was correct, but I paid him on the spot because I completely trusted that he had gotten to the root cause and because he had put in the time and deserved every penny and more. He has earned my family’s business for both of our cars from now

Thanks Freddie! Update... another 5 stars. Freddie figured out and fixed in 2 hours what this other rude foul mouthed, anger management issues so called mechanic took 6 days to screw up and never did figure out or fix. Had to tow vehicle 2x...lessons learnt... just take it to Freddie.

This is the best mechanic, HANDS DOWN, that I have ever been to!!! Honest, efficient, excellent communication, and very reasonably priced. He won't rip you off if you're a woman either. Probably why he has a large amount of women customers
