Fine Tune Auto

My car was leaking oil last week and I randomly found this shop near my school. They used 1 day to find the problem and 1 day to solve this after I paid. Super wonderful service with all details about how and why! Make me feel like my money 100% worth and they also solved the problem completely!!!! The acceleration even becomes more smooth!!!! Fair price! I will set this shop as my always! Love!!!!

Dishonest, Hostile, and Unprofessional I came in simply asking for a quote on the warning lights that came up on my dashboard. I dealt with Larry for this entire ordeal. I made it very clear I did not want any work done without approval. Immediately, I was lied to and told I needed oil changes four times a year (completely false for my driving habits and my vehicle). The quote he then gave me for the diagnosis alone was absurdly inflated ($230 for a basic diagnosis I later found elsewhere for a fraction of the cost). When I politely declined and asked him only to refill and test my antifreeze, he told me their mechanic had “accidentally” gone ahead and performed some of the diagnostic/repair work anyway—and then tried to charge me $90 for it. Fine Auto is a great place to go to when your car needs work. Larry is honest talented and highly knowledgeable. He is a wonderful technician and diagnostician. He treats his customers Iike family. His workers are skilled and courteous. I have been a happy customer for years since I trust him. He tests and works on every part of the car and will explain everything before doing anything. Fine Tune is the place to go.

Larry at Fine Tune Auto was always the best. He was always honest, friendly, and professional. I lived in the Bronx for 4 years during medical school & he took care of everything. I had to keep going back to him even after I left the Bronx because I could find an honest mechanic where I was living. I wish there was a Larry where I live now!!
