Firestone Complete Auto Care

I have brought 3 cars to Firestone in the past 10 years without any issues. I took my car in for an oil change and when I got home I realized that there were scratches that scraped off the paint on the hood of my car. However, it was the end of winter and sometimes salt can look like a scratch, I didn’t want to assume that Firestone damaged my car so I figured I would get a car wash and then reassess. After the car wash it was clear that paint was scratched off my car. I called and the guy who answered could not care less, asking if I use a snow brush to brush my car off and that’s probably what it’s from. Super frustrating. Store Manager named Chuck told me I had to pay $120 for an alignment when I have the lifetime alignment plan with Firestone. I drive quite often and I’ve had many different repairs and many alignments within a year. I never had any employee or Store Manager tell me that I had to pay any type of money for an alignment even when I had car work done. I just put new tires on today and have to travel and their location was the only ones available at 1 PM to help me out today, but this manager is trying to get over and charge me. Obviously, this person does not appreciate the business I do with Firestone and the business that I bring to Firestone. This was a very selfish act and I don’t know why he would tell me this. I bought a “new”used car. Took it there for an oil change and what they call a complete vehicle inspection PLUS. Made an online appointment and was told it would be between 1.5 and 2 hours. Not ideal when you make an appointment. I waited and as it was finally done I got an automated email with my results (all was good) and it said at the bottom, next time I should get the complete vehicle inspection PLUS. Well that’a what I selected when I made the appointment, confirmed with the rep who checked me in and it shows on my confirmation email. I wasn’t charged for the PLUS ( just the regular inspection) so that’s good but after waiting 2 hours I didn’t even get the full and more expensive service I asked for. I’ll go elsewhere next time.

leaving one star because i can’t leave zero. I went in for a car inspection and could tell as soon as i walked in they thought i had no idea what was going on because im a girl. funny enough for them i’ve worked in the car business for years, as well as grew up always being at my family’s repair shop, they made me sit for over an hour to tell me my car would not pass inspection as my control arm is “completely broken” and that my tires barely pass. I just got new top of the line tires 6 months ago so i KNOW they are in fine condition. they told me i needed over 2,000 dollars worth of work LOL, i said to give me my paperwork so i can leave. complete waste of my time, this place is nothing but scam artists. i cannot stress this enough DO NOT GO TO THEM. i took my car here as it is close to m
