Firestone Complete Auto Care

I’d give this business a 0 if I could. Gave them my vehicle info ahead of time for an appointment, they said they could do the service. Went through the dropoff process. Got home and got a call that they couldn’t figure it out. Complete waste of time - especially since I’m on crutches and can’t drive so need to coordinate with others for dropoff/pickup. Complete inconvenience to my entire family. Never again. Best part is - in under a minute, I found the setting they claimed they couldn’t find.

Have been with Firestone and Tires Plus (same parent company) for a while and find them to be fair and honest in their recommendations and services. Recently had to get my rear wheel hub assemblies replaced and other shops couldn’t give a firm quote since they didn’t know how long it would take to get the old ones off. Firestone uses experience and data to set a fixed cost and holds to it regardless it takes them more labor hours to remove old ones than estimated. They were also competitive on new tires (even beat Costco where I’m a member). Gordon Wright is the new store manager in North Reading and he is very personable. The store is clean and provides free fast wifi that always works so can work while waiting. Highly recommend.

I took some time to think about this review. My service date was January 12th 2026, it was a Monday mid-morning around 10am. I brought in my commercial vehicle which is part of a fleet. I waited for 2 hours and 46 minutes to get an oil change and a tire plug. I understand there was people before me so I knew it would be a wait. After an hour went by those folks had left with their cars. Another gentleman came in after me and waited another hour and he was out before me even though he came after me. There was two other folks that also had come after me came in and left and they did not drop off their car prior. I believe it's because I was a fleet vehicle and they only get paid a flat fee to service commercial vehicles. I was almost late to an appointment because I was on the clock. Having

I previously had two sets of tires and one tire repair done successfully at this location, but recently had an experience that will prevent me from ever giving them my business again. I scheduled an appointment in mid-November for Friday 12/5 to get an alignment and four new tires, which I pre-ordered through them at that time. On Friday, 11/28, I called to confirm my 12/5 appointment, and to ensure they had ordered my tires. The gentleman I spoke with said everything was all set, and they would see me on 12/5 at 8:00am. I rearranged my work schedule to be able to wait for the car on 12/5, and when I arrived, I was told that they did not have my tires, and even if they did, it would make no sense to wait, because they had no idea when they would get to my car that day. I came in to price 4 new tires for my car and the store manager Gordon Wright greeted me with a smile gave me a price for my tires and got me a discount by reactivating my Firestone cc. They were able to complete the job including balancing the and a complete realignment under 2 hours from start to finish. Gordon and his team did a great job. Progesional, personable and polite. I would recommend Firestone, this location to all of my friends and family. Great Job Firestone, Gordon and the team.
