They’re always great when I stop by for my vehicle maintenance, they’re very considerate and always take care of my needs. Very veteran friendly as well. They are very preventive when it comes to vehicle maintenance, meaning they would rather prevent the problem all together rather than treat it after it happens. Sometimes that can result in you spending a little more than you plan in the moment but it definitely saves you in the long run.

Super Slow day of service. Had a scheduled appointment time locked in and set for oil change. Was told I needed new spark plugs, — okay based on mileage. Car wasn’t working on for at least a 1 hour delay of time. 2 1/2 hours later car was said to be finished. Was surprised of the 4 hours setting waiting. Cost was on higher end for spark plug change out. I understand set prices but high none the less. Should have just dropped it off for the day. Time in the mechanics book states this should have been a 1 1/2 - 2 hour job. Perhaps new staff? Once plugs were changed, I was informed vehicle through timing codes—which is very uncommon to occur and should not occur with spark plug change out. No issues with timing when car was brought into shop. Waited more time (2 hour) for them

They may take a little longer but they are willing to haggle a little. One time I had an allingment done, a month later i noticed my new cv boot was torn. No big deal i was going to buy one myself and put it on. I couldn't find one so I called and they said they would replace it "free of charge". They called me when they had it in. Then we set up an appointment for a couple weeks out, I couldn't make and forgot about it, two months later I needed an alignment again (I drive alot not thier fault) I asked if they had the boot, they didn't know. I accepted it as my fault for not being proactive about it. They called me back before the alignment and said they found it, then proceeded to put everything on for free. Negative star review! My 19yo college student drove from Maryville to St. Joseph for a scheduled inspection. The manager told her they were too busy, regardless of the appointment that was made and 2 service people who could perform the service. She was told to leave her car and come pick it up the next day. She wouldn't have a ride back 45 minutes away to get her car. They're willing to strand my daughter rather than put forth errors to provide the service she scheduled an appointment for! Loyal customers please read this, as I've used Firestone all over the state of Missouri and if they're willing to do this to a kid, imagine how they might take advantage of others more venerable! Lost customers and I will be spreading the word!

On the road, far from home when the electrical system died in our truck. It was early evening but Firestone was still open. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to get us on the road the next morning (had to wait for parts) If we lived in St. Joseph we would definitely be regular customers.
