Fred's Towing & Transport

Someone hit me on the highway and the Bill was right there with the truck. They called around for repair options and Wendy even drove me to a hotel in South Hill so I could be comfortable until things got sorted out. Grateful all the way around.

🚨 Terrible Customer Service – Avoid Fred’s Towing & Transport! 🚨 If I could give zero stars, I would. I called Fred’s Towing & Transport today, on February 15 in the morning for a roadside service, expecting professionalism and assistance. Instead, I was met with one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The lady who answered—Cheyenne—acted like I owed her a billion dollars. Her attitude was unbelievably unprofessional, dismissive, and downright rude. If this is how they treat paying customers in urgent situations, I can only imagine how they handle their actual services. As a Big Transportation logistics company we rely on quality roadside assistance. Fred’s Towing & Transport just proved they are NOT a company we can trust. To anyone in the trucking industry: Save

Customer service is horrendous. I recently called to verify their contract for the city before offering a business opportunity with South Hill, VA government contracts. HA I wouldn’t employ anyone at this business based off the poor customer service I received. My client actually sent me this Tow company as a preferred contractor but after I reported back on the poor customer service, we were happy to find another client. Everyone isn’t employable, so I understand why these folks are their own bosses. More power to you, need to go to customer service training though. This is for their dispatch service. Didn’t get the chance to see what their actual service is like. If it matches the customer service, RUN!!!

Soooooo very thankful for this company! Got stuck on 85 with children in the car, towed to Walmart for replacement. The real praise comes in when the tow truck driver informed Walmart auto repair that children were still stuck on the highway to possibly get moved up in the emergency situation. Of course, Walmart could care less about the situation (separate review)…Myself and my family are so thankful for this company!!!

On the side of 85 they came promptly I was surprised so fast then they didn’t have the right socket to change the tire on the truck they just left and told me call some one else they can’t help me I had. A 17.5 inch tire to change that was on the rim already just didn’t come prepared with the right socket I told them I’m not a tractor trailer I’m in a dullie before they showed up on the phone!! Sitting here and it’s dangerous on the side of the road there office is less than 10 minutes away come on!!!
