Brian Gains runs a great repair shop. I feel they are fair, honest and genuinely care for their customers. I've trusted Gains Auto since the early 90's and haven't had a pricing or repair issue during this entire. After a local dealership claimed to perform a specific repair. Brian could prove they didn't because he marked the repairs they performed 14 months earlier to certain components. I highly recommend Gains Auto Center in Pace, FL.

Issue with turbo actuator. Diagnosed it. Ordered the part. It took a few extra days due to shipping issues from the weather. Runs great! Highly recommend them for diesel work. Kept me informed every step of the way. I'll be a returning customer

I brought my truck here because I thought a front half shift was going bad on my 4wd truck. I was confident, based on the noises it was making, and when they'd appear. Got a call back saying they found some inner wheel well trim rubbing on the wheel when at full right lock, and in reverse. They fixed it basically free and saved me a much more expensive repair. I liked them before, but this visit earned my loyalty. CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!

In this day and age it’s hard to find a shop with honest people but I can say the crew at Gaines are some of the honest and best people you can have working on your vehicle. My truck was having some transmission issues and I took it to Gaines expecting to be told I needed a transmission or a rebuild done. Which is what most places will tell you. They did an inspection and just did a full drain and fill on my transmission and it works and feels like a new transmission!! I highly recommend Gaines for any and all repairs

We spent nearly $600 at Gaines on two A/C repairs within two weeks. From the start, we were concerned it might be the compressor (which was noted), but the issue was never resolved. The A/C went out a third time, and another shop later confirmed the compressor was completely locked up. That repair cost $1,300. Gaines did offer to attempt the repair again for around $900 with waived labor, but after two failed attempts and the issue happening three times, we no longer felt confident in their service. Unfortunately, we’ve decided not to return.
