Gardens at Wakefield

I’ve been living here coming up 7 years this June. I participate in many activities and enjoy all. At times the food is very good; other times not. I feel safe here because we are in a neighborhood with other homes and off a major highway. The staff is excellent including Heather our GM, other staff and bus driver. I feel like everyone cares and feels like family. We have 3 meals a day and every apartment has its own washer and dryer.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working more closely with Tina Derasmo, whom I have known professionally for some time. She focused on what was best for the resident and the family, offering guidance and assistance that extended far beyond what would normally be expected in a sales role. While I don't currently live at The Gardens at Wakefield, I have visited a friend there. The community is very welcoming with staff being friendly and attentive. The residents seem to be happy with lots of activities to enjoy on a daily basis. I have also enjoyed the food there several times. I think this would be a wonderful community to live in.

After a lengthy search for a new residence for our family member, finding The Gardens at Wakefield through a trusted referral was like winning the jackpot ! From the time we toured to the transition of living at the Gardens at Wakefield, we have had a wonderful experience. This community is intentional about ensuring residents are cared for, known, and engaged in community activities. Their ambassador program for new residents is a wonderful asset while transitioning into the community. We are incredibly grateful for the support and attention our family member has gotten. Special kudos to Tina and Heather D. for all the individual attention they have provided! There are numerous options of activities offered on a daily basis as well as social activities like music concerts and dances.

My mom and dad have been here 4 months now and absolutely love it. Every time I go there to do things with my parents, I leave happy. The community there is just amazing. The staff is like family and truly love and care for the residents. I would highly recommend this place.
