Gates Hyundai Service

The service department at Gates Hyundai is top of the line. The service manager, clerks, and mechanics/installers were all very nice and professional. I made an appointment online for a undercoating treatment due to a recall. Website was very user friendly when it comes to scheduling. Everything went very smoothly and while we were there checking in we were told there was another recall issue with the anti theft system. Took care of both issues and informed me that the engine air and cabin filters needed changing and had photos of the filters. They did a thorough inspection of the vehicle and found only those two discrepancies. I do my own filter change outs but I do appreciate them notifying me that they were dirty. My first time using this service department, and very happy with my time here. I went in for an oil change. They were friendly, the waiting room was comfortable, and they were much quicker than their totally reasonable time estimation. I had an unrelated question after I left, and emailed my service advisor, since it wasn't urgent - and she responded almost immediately. So appreciated!

Gates Hyundai went above and beyond to service my Elantra, which needed a new engine due to piston slap. They put in the time and effort to have it covered under warranty, even though the mileage was outside the warranty. We are so grateful to them and to Hyundai for treating us right. We will remember them when we need our next vehicle.

I was told on the phone the first time it would be an ALL DAY JOB ( A RECALL) I THEN WAS TOLD BY ANOTHER ONLY A 30 MIN. JOB!! I Sat there about an Hour he COULD NOT EVEN FIND MY VIN NUMBER,I Had to show him Where it was!! They DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! Said it was something to put on tire and had to order the Sticker!! My Conclusion, I'm A Disabled Senior Citizen ( WOMAN) GOT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF,THEY DIDNT ,HAVENT AND WILL NOT DO A THING FOR ME OR MY SUV!! Do NOT Go of you're if you're a WOIMAN!! WASTE OF TIME!!

I pulled onto an empty service bay and waited several minutes for someone to appear.. I was told that I could not get any service on a Sat except an o change.. the young man was surly and unpleasant. . Do not recommend stopping here
