Steve was literally our savior today. We got a flat tire and had to pull over as it was an emergency situation. Steve saw us, immediately offered to change out our tire with our spare and even gave us the name of a tire place in town that could replace our tire. If the world had more people like him in it, we all would be better off. If your car ever needs service in Gorham, I highly recommend this place and thanks again Steve for keeping my family safe.

Steve is a Volvo and other import specialist and is pretty much always booked. He’s incredible good at what he does. Trustworthy, efficient and friendly.

I did not have any work done at Gateway Automotive, but I WOULD in a minute! I recently "limped" in to this <recommended> shop with a major issue with my Volvo S60. Steve took the time from his busy morning to look at my car and explain everything I needed to know. He was VERY knowledgeable and knew the car in detail. Also, Steve is a very personable mechanic that deserves retirement after a 40 year career!! (do it Steve!) Besides spending nearly an hour with me going over my options, he subsequently connected me to someone who helped me out of my issues! BIG thanks Steve!

Steve was so helpful when my XC 60 with 164,000 miles, broke down near Franconia notch. I puttered into his garage, even when he was totally booked for the day, he took time out to check out my car. Sadly, it needed a full new engine. BUT, Steve managed to find us a great used engine with only 50,000 miles on it. Did an amazing job replacing the old one and now my car runs like brand new. Highly recommend this small crew of talented technicians. They really know what they're doing and are 100 percent trustworthy.
