I brought my car in after an auto collision and was told it would be ready by the 7th — to my surprise, it was finished and ready to go by the 1st! They were professional, communicative, and delivered ahead of schedule, which is rare in auto repair. My car looks great, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I was involved in a non-trivial collision and my insurance company directed me to take my vehicle to this Gerber Collision and Glass location. I had a great experience from estimate to drop off to pick up. This facility has a relationship with Enterprise rentals which made the complication of needing a rental vehicle an absolute breeze. The personnel at the desk were friendly and helpful. They worked with my insurance to work everything out and I was only responsible for paying my copay at the pickup of the vehicle. I received multiple texts about the progress of my vehicle during the repair as well as multiple phone calls to keep me informed. Great experience, updated every step, there is an online portal available also to see real time update about process. Kevin was very good, explained things very well. Got the vehicle back 8 days before estimated pick up date. Definitely recommend buffalo grove Gerber collision.

Unfortunately, I have had to use the services of this Gerber many times. They have always done a great job with the repairs over the 4-5 times I have used them. They work with all the big insurance companies which makes it really easy. This last time there was a long wait for the part on my door. They insisted I needed a new door when other body ships though it could be fixed with just a new “skin”. Gerber was right and it was worth the wait on the part. I believe the other body shop was just trying to get a repair done now with what they could instead of waiting to do it properly. Julian at Gerber communicated perfectly with me in this matter and he was 100% correct. Kevin Vargas really handles himself well too.
