Gerry's Auto Repair

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review. Gerry kept my vehicle for two months without addressing the issue, and then charged me storage fees to release my keys to let the tow truck driver take the vehicle from the lot. He assures me that he had done some work with the vehicle, but it was never moved from the spot where it was dropped off two months ago. After the first month with minimal communication from him I finally stopped by and was assured it was going to get looked at that week. After a couple more weeks his phone number was disconnected and I couldn't get ahold of anyone, so I finally decided to move my vehicle to another location. I caution anyone looking for vehicle repairs to look elsewhere.

first of Gerry has been my mechanic since 2018 I am 26 years old he is a very reasonable mechanic he only has about 2-3 workers that work with him so be patient .. when it comes to his work he provides quality over time no matter what ... and if your a loyal customer he will work with you idc with anyone says most mechanics at pepboys or any expensive shop will take your pockets Gerry will be very reasonable as long as your honest and he knows your situation he will work with you .. worked on plenty of my cars and will continue to do so AND HE WILL TOW YOUR CAR IF HE HAS TO !!! Amazing! So glad we found this place. We got stuck around the area (memorial day weekend) and most places were closed. This man I believe his name is Gerardo. Fixed our car over night and delivered it to our hotel the next morning. I'm very grateful for this man being able to fix our car quickly.

Oh my goodness. Where do I even start? This is my first time leaving a poor review somewhere and I feel bad but I also feel like I have to warn people. These mechanics have NO clue what they are doing. They tried to get me to buy a new transmission when all I needed was a new battery. I laughed it off and wind up giving them a second chance a year later BUT again, poor service. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra few more somewhere else. The owner is the furthest thing from professional. They seem nice at first but TRUST ME once you give them your keys EVERYTHINGS fishy. They make up issues for more money and will open the shop whenever they feel like it which means you’ll get your vehicle back whenever they feel like opening. Look away and thank me later.

I took my 4Runner to new break pads and rotos. Gerry was able to see me the same day. He was very professional and helpful, and even checked the engine light on my second car for no charge. The price for the break pad change was very fair and even matched the life time warranty someone else offered. I am new to the area and maybe too soon to say, but I think I found my go to mechanic. Thank Gerry for the excellent work and your advice to get my second card registered.
