Gills Motorworks

Love these guys! They are honest, reasonably priced, and do excellent work. I started going to them last fall. I cannot recommend Patrick and his team enough. As a woman who does not know much about the mechanics of cars, I am grateful to have found them.

the most amazing service i’ve ever received!!!! patrick was so timely, he answered my call over the weekend when he wasn’t working and took time out of his weekend to understand and hear out my car situation. he had such amazing communication, transparency, and such empathy! patrick is the best of the best!!! i will never go to any other mechanic!!!

I have only been living in Chico for about a year, so when my truck broke down, I panicked a little. I often heard friends say how they were over charged for their car repairs. I call my friend Cass (she's a local) and recommended Gills Automotive. I called them up and they were super friendly, told me not to worry and even recommended a tow service from next door. Within an hour of my truck being dropped off he called and told me it was my timing belt. Told me don't worry, theses older Ford Rangers, it's pretty simple to fix, just have to remove a few parts. Made me feel comfortable. Within a couple of days my truck was fix at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Gills Automotive, thanks guys for helping a broke college student get his truck fixed

Woooowie! Patrick (the owner) is Awesome. In the midst of having his doggie going through health issues... he took great care of my car! I was stranded on the road and now it drives SUPER great! I live in Forest Ranch so I have to go up and down the hill. He saved my livelihood! Thank you so much!!!

Gill's Motorworks is Phenomenal and his transparency has no hidden agenda. I am always skeptical about a trustworthy Car shop. Gills team and himself makes it very comfortable in explaining the work and the cost. They make sure we understand what is going to happen and what is needing to be repaired. We had used their shop for the last 3x on our major repairs and the pricing is very reasonable. We recommend and commend on anyone local to us Gill's as their Auto Repair needs.
