Golden Nozzle Car Wash

The brushes were wayyy too aggressive to the point it almost took my mirror off and left scratches and other marks that I now have to file a claim on. Go to washville or one of the others this place is a joke. Gave me a card to file a claim within 48 hours. Probably only to make insurance go through the roof. Or they can come good for it themselves and maybe I'll take this review down from Google. Heard they went out of business in Mass only to move their stuff up here and try screwing us over clearly. 😡 Everyone I've talked to says, ya I heard they mess your car up. Brand new car to me too so thanks golden nozzle!!!! Take my 20 bucks and give me this!?

Their brush was too strong it broke my side mirror cover, not just me but also a friend of mine got her break into pieces after.

On June 8, 2025, using my monthly membership, I took my Buick Envision for a wash at the Bangor, Maine Golden Nozzle location. My car is a model year 2017, but was purchased as new in May 2018. It has about 72k miles on it, is very well maintained and garaged 100% of the time. No rust! We have had monthly memberships to car washes through the years because it is important for us to take care of our vehicles. After the car wash on 6/8, I returned home to find that the cover to my gas door was missing. I immediately returned to the Bangor location and showed the gas door to operations manager, Steve, who had another employee go in the car wash to find the cover, which he did. 19.97 a month will NOT INCLUDE UNDER CARRIAGE WASH. You will pay 8 bucks a month more for under carriage wash. If you know how the mechanics of a car wash works, you know this is like charging extra for cream in your coffee. AND my car smells like chemicals all week after a wash. It gets in the AIR recirculation vent of both of our cars.

Went through for a basic car wash, $10, and I had a Nissan Titan. Came out of the car wash with my drivers side mirror bent in, and a huge scratch up the side of my door. I brought it to the attention of a worker, which they gave me a corporate card to get a hold of, which then they denied my claim. I wouldn't recommend this place AT ALL, unless you're looking for some character added to your vehicle 😉
