I value honesty in my Mechanics. After my Fiancee and I were both individually burned at chain shops several times, I decided "never again" and that I would spend the time to find good shops. We found one near our old apartment, and needed a new one after moving to Coatesville. I knew I found the right place when I brought it in for an inspection, and he didn't pull me inside to doom & gloom me into thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. George is the man. Plain and simple. If something doesn't need to be fixed, he'll say so. If it does, he is fast and reasonable. He has never once hurried or pressured me into buying or fixing something.
