Grants Safety Lane

Had a serious car problem while we were visiting El malpais on a cross country tour. Every mechanic in town said they couldn't get to our car until the following week, including safety lane. But Max at safety lane gave off very good vibes, and seemed like a very honest and decent person so we had our car towed to him on Monday. He ordered the parts and the car was ready on Tuesday by noon! The price was fair, we trusted his work and he was very nice. I wish I could always have Max work on our cars!

Max is an incredibly knowledgeable mechanic. My husband and I were so lucky to chance upon this shop! We ruined a brake line driving out of El Malpais, and Max looked at our truck first thing in the morning and assuaged the entire situation even though he had his own schedule and daily concerns. He went above and beyond in our situation. He has the most calm, pensive, stoic personality. A true pleasure to have worked with him.

Max is exactly who you would hope for when trusting someone with your vehicle and, by proxy, your life. I can't recommend him and this shop more. My wife and I live in all the way in Santa Fe but will definitely be making the drive back to Grants Safety Lane for all brake servicing.

I've been taking my cars to Safety Lane for 24 years and have never had a bad experience. Multiple brake jobs (rotors, master cylinder, etc) alignments, and a total front axle rebuild on a Dana44. The price is always fair and the job is always done correctly. Highly recommended.

Max is one of the nicest persons I know and he does excellent work.
