Gray-Daniels Toyota Service Department

Beware….don’t believe the buyback offer! We were told by this service department that our Toyota Tacoma needed an engine rebuild or replacement. We have taken our truck here multiple times and discussed the engine issue with the service department. The check engine light is on. This week, we brought our truck back in because it was leaking oil from an oil change done here a couple of days ago. The dealership left us an offer to purchase the truck. We spoke with a Toyota representative on the phone about the offer and came in the next day. We were then offered a much lower amount based on the truck having engine issues that they were unaware of!? They did not honor their offer and we settled on a lesser amount because we already bought another truck!

Laraven in the service department provides top-notch customer service and was especially great at explaining my auto issues in a way that made it easier for me to comprehend. She maintains a beautiful smile and is extra kind to each customer she encounters. She will be the reason we continue to use this dealership for repairs and maintenance. I absolutely recommend requesting her when possible.

I'm a former Toyota Dealer so I know how everything in the service department is supposed to work. I've had some bad experiences with Gray Daniels Toyota Service Department over the years. Some of the past Service Mangers had no clue how to handle customers. Last week I had a vehicle in service and needed to have Management make a call on the problem I had. Service Manager Phil LaSalla was the man that made the call. This service Manager knows how to handle a customer in the heat of the moment. There are lots of good Service Managers, but great ones are rare, Phil is in the category of great. Thank you for your service. I'll be back as long as your there.

This review starts with my last service a few months back. I called in to get a oil change done along with a few recalls. When I returned to get my vehicle. They had not completed the recall or my oil change claiming that I did receive a oil change at 25k miles. But my truck was a 30k miles, and I also requested a change anyway. They made this right by doing the oil change free. This is were things start to get bad, I was told i would get a call when the recall parts arrived that never happened. fast forward to now. I did an oil change myself and found many things wrong with the truck. They stripped two of my skid plate bolts. Had my oil pan nut very loose, but put my oil filter housing on so tight I could not remove it. ( I snapped my oil filter wrench on it). I called two times in a an
