Green Hills Retirement Community

The building is nicely decorated and clean and the staff are nice and considerate. The residents seem happy and well cared for. We've attended several activities there including passing out Valentines with my son's Cub Scout pack and the christmas party where we decorated cookies and sang karaoke. I would highly recommend Green Hills!

Green Hills is a wonderful community with all the amenities to make life enjoyable & worry free. The staff is caring and fun. Ames is a great place to live, and Green Hills events offer opportunities to engage with ISU and city activities.

I have several friends who reside at Green Hills. They love it! I can see how well that they are cared for, the activities they do, the focus on staying healthy physically, intellectually and emotionally. The grounds are very well maintained as are the facilities and the staff is amazing. I know many who work here and they very much enjoy their jobs and the people who live there.

Chuck and I have been very happy with our decision to join the Green Hills Community. We appreciate the caring employees and excellent leadership. We treasure the friends we’ve made. There is a rich array of activities promoting all dimensions of wellness. Living at Green Hills is helping us be the best we can be at this time of our lives.

There is a sign in the entry of the Healthcare Center “When you’re here, your family”. This is not just a sign on the wall, but a fact! All of the staff truly care about the well-being of the residents. We chose Green Hills because of their five star rating and from their first introduction meeting, we knew it was the best choice we could have made. Being away from your home is never easy but the staff definitely make the atmosphere joyous, welcoming and accommodating! Green Hills does become your home away from home!
