Took my Nissan Murano in for 100k mile service and had a great experience. The mechanic was honest, thorough, and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. Everything was done on time, pricing was much more reasonable than quoted elsewhere, and my car is running great. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended Groat’s Garage! We had an engine replaced and Brendan did some forward thinking in replacing plugs, checked the timing chain and more to make sure it was road safe and would run great! Most happy and will return as customers!

Great people, let you bring in your own parts. Much more reasonable rates than other shops. Definitely my go to shop in Ames. Had fluid changes done and some electrical work done and it came put great!

I can't say enough about Groat's Garage! Had a issue and was able to get in and fixed within a few days. Always trying to save money and not overcharged so I called around. One place I couldn't get in until the end of the month. Very affordable compared to what others were charging. Would highly recommend them.
