We are Florida residents that just started spending our summers on Beaver Dam Lake. I asked around for a "good auto repair shop". Got several recommendations for Griswolds Automotive. They are very busy so had to schedule my appointment 2 weeks out. Took my car there and was not disappointed. Everyone I talked to was very friendly, knowledgeable and Customer focused. I had 3 items that needed servicing. They completed the work in 2 hours while I waited. I feel that is a very reasonable time given the items to be serviced. The price they charged was very fair. I gave the tech who performed the service a $20 tip. Our car runs great. Will definitely take our car there for service in the future when we are in Beaver Dam. Sean B.

After my husband retired from Active Duty, he embarked on his second career in this area in Wisconsin. Needless to say starting over is never fun! You have to establish everything anew and that includes your family mechanic! This always makes me nervous because car repairs can just be pricey! Than there is the worry you will get some know- it- all mechanic that makes incorrect diagnosis and fixes the wrong thing or does a terrible job fixing it only for it to have to be taken back! I've only had positive experiences here for the couple times I've come in. Old fashioned + affordably priced honest service. Planning on taking them up on their quote for my exhaust repair soon.

Pretty sure it was the owner that helped me. Talked to him on the phone. He told me to stop in so he could take a look at my problem. Went there s half hour later, he dropped what he was doing to look at my car. Hooked it up to his computer and discussed with me what he thought it was. What a great guy! I'll certainly go back there anytime with car problems/questions!

Had to have a plastic water system part replaced that I couldn't access myself and took it in to Griswold. My first time dealing with them but my girlfriend's family has been going with them for years. They completed the repair within the timeframe and price point quoted. I'm completely satisfied and will use them for all of my auto repairs in the future.
