I went to Hakes after seeing good reviews on Facebook. They are 100% the real deal. Not only did they save me 800.00 from a quote I received from a different but they were nice, professional and didn't try to pressure me to get any other repairs. Very trustworthy company. Would highly recommend them. I had brought my car to them for a water pump to be replaced. Prior to that I brought it in as I thought I needed brakes, good news I didn't. They were honest with me and said I didn't need them replaced. Thank you to the team at Hakes Auto!! Job well done.

I was referred by a good friend who said the prices were fair. I was charged $360 for 2 ball joints that cost $40 each, that's a 350% markup!! I understand markups to make the business money but overall nearly $1k to repair something as simple as ball joints is a bit outrageous... I won't be coming back. Consider an affordable mechanic before thinking about coming here.

We've used Hake's a couple times now and have been very happy with the service. First was for a sudden and unusual thing, but nothing really ended up being wrong. They were very honest and didn't try to talk us into anything. More recently we had a bigger job done and they explained the cost, why it was needed, etc very clearly. They answered all of our questions and were good about communication, especially making sure we knew our car would be there for several days.

Best auto repair in Bloomington. Great mechanics, honest and reliable. Eric works on all of my vehicles. He just installed a new transmission in my 1946 Ford.
