Hampton Auto Sales

This review is based off the quality of the vehicle/ interactions with owner after spending money. This is essentially a buy here pay here lot where cars come nearly broken down from auction and are resold to make a quick few thousand. I bought an E250, for 3800.00 9 days ago. The owner was nice and his wife was nice too. Unfortunately whenever I went to leave the battery was dead, so I said I would go to lunch and come back after they charged it. (This was after I had called to agree on a price and he said it would be a few days because there mechanic had to look at the fuses.) the gas light was on and the tires are bald. So I get the car, and drove it for three days and it broke down as the vehicle stalled out on 22, paid 159.00 to get it towed back to my house in La grange, paid 85 for

The guys here were super friendly and treated me like family while I was there. Absolutely no pressure to purchase, and they took the time to bring me up to sipped with as much information about the vehicle I was looking at before taking it on the road. I ended up buying a 2013 Charger from them, and will be back to purchase another car when the time comes. Great guys!

Stopped to check out a Honda. On the phone and the initial interaction was very pleasant. Salesman was upfront about the known history of the vehicle, however, after being told that it was ok to pop the hood and look things over he began to get impatient and snapped at me for checking to make sure there was no oil in/on the spark plug wires. He claimed the car was already being sold at a steal of a price and repeatedly stated that it sold for a higher book value. He also stated he didn't like when people checked or looked at things the way I did (I had my head down close to the top and back of the engine to hear for any odd noises that might be occuring). Overall, I'd recommend bringing someone with mechanic knowledge or at least ask to have any car you think about buying looked at and gon

I just got a car from them! They're so honest and down to earth. They told me any issues with any cars or any history on the cars and what they've fixed. They were super helpful and sweet. Me, being a mechanic, I could see the work they put into making sure the cars are good to sell. They put a new battery in the car I bought because it didn't start the morning I went to pick it up, so they rushed to get it squared away and I drove off. Thank you so much!

Really decent place found our 2008 Scion there just purchased a month or two ago. They cut straight to the chase and told us it was a manual (which is what we were looking for) and were very nice but also upfront about not either of us waisting the others time. The cars are cheap and they let you know why from the get go especially if you just ask. I would go back in a heartbeat to buy from them . Things do take some time to process through the dmv since no computers but other then that they were really good to us
