My husband and myself came from Canton, Illinois. He had to have a difficult procedure performed at the University Iowa Health Care Hospital. We came to Iowa the night before his surgery. When we got to the hospital the next morning, our car died pulling into the parking lot! Here we were 150 miles from home and our car wouldn't start! My husband's surgery started at 7am. It was left up to me to find out about our car. I came across Hanson Automotive. They had good reviews and was fairly close to the hospital. I took a chance and called the business. The man that answered the phone was so understanding! He told me that he would contact a towing company for me to get our car towed to him. It wasn't 10 minutes later, the towing company called me and said that they would be there asap! Mr Ha

Great team, they put a new rear bumper on my rusty old truck. Helpful advice too, getting a few more years of service from her. My former mechanic retired, looks like I found another trusty shop now!

I came in because I cracked my front emblem of my car and wanted to get a quote to get it fixed. I can't remember the exact quote, but I think it was somewhere between $1,000 to $2,000. I was able to fix it myself for under $60 dollars. I don't appreciate being over charged for work that most likely didn't need to be done. I would NEVER recommend your shop to anyone because you clearly don't care about customers, you only care about making money. Truly disappointed.

This place was referred to me by my insurance when I needed a dent fixed, and I'm so glad it was! Everyone I spoke to was so nice and helpful. I wasn't expecting my car to get done so quickly since it was around the holidays, but it was done within just a few days and they were nice enough to buff out some paint from a previous incident. Craig and his team are so great, if anything else goes wrong with my car, this is definitely where I'll go.
