THIS PLACE IS A SCAM DO NOT GO HERE The only reason why this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because I believe they properly diagnosed the issue in my car that no one could solve. I actually applaud the mechanic that may have figured out this issue considering this was the 3rd mechanic I brought my car to. The scam though is that the cost to repair a transmission they quoted me *puts on glasses* over $11k for an old Prius. I felt like it was off, I posted about it in a forum and that post became the joke of the day in that forum. EVERYONE said it was a scam, even on the more expensive end it would cost $2k for parts and labor AT THE MOST could be another $3k. Still a pretty expensive repair.....but literally less than half of that crazy quote. To make matters worse, what they wer

Dishonest service department. Don't plan on using your bumper to bumper warranty here as they'll do cartwheels finding a way to blame it on a "wear and tear", even on a 6 month old vehicle.

I have experience with many Toyota dealerships here in the northeast, over the last 20 years. I would say that Hartford Toyota Superstore exceeded my expectations, and has been the easiest dealer of them all to do business with. At every level, in every department, I was met with pleasant and professional people, who love their job, and quickly put me in the perfect truck. It was a very smooth and for me, a fun experience! Let me start off by saying run from this location very disorganized, rude people definitely not people definitely not professional. Please don’t even bother going to the service department. Steve Elliott advisor number 111961 specifically does not know how to do his job. He proceeds to take two hours to do an oil change Something so simple that you everywhere else in under an hour, but Steve was unable to do his job. We originally went in for an oil change but my car has a battery tray recall set on it so we asked if that can get done as well. Steve proceeded to say yes he said it would take about two hours which is OK because it needs something else on top of the oil change, but I did not have time for that today so I told him to just do the oil change. Broke a piece off my car but flat out told me they will not fix it! They think I did it and brought it in the next day! While I called the same day my car was serviced and took pictures showing how noticeable it was from out side the car!
