Decided to try a new mechanic in town after my last go with a different place, well I got socks/struts replaced all around, $1600 ! And the back passenger end was still bad , I brought in 2 more times so he could figure out what was wrong and fix it he said it only needs some spray and the sound would go away. So I bring it to Toyota and they said strut is bad leaking oil , so they gave my pics of it brought it back to Haviland auto and they still didn’t fix it and didn’t believe me when I said Toyota said part was bad, showed him pics he got pissed off at my giving my a attitude about how hes losing money because parts suck these days. He said he fixed it (3rd time being in there) and nope still not fixed. I won’t trust these local shops anymore.

I was driving to work from CT when i heard some unfamiliar noises coming from my work Van. This was the closest auto shop and the ONLY one that know exactly what was going on. As soon as he heard the noise he know what was wrong! Highly Recommend !! Thank you Haviland Auto Shop !

I’ve been going to Haviland Auto Repair for years for inspections and minor repairs—Scott, the owner, has always taken good care of me. This morning, while waiting to have my car inspected , I overheard a conversation about tariffs and price hikes. When I paid, I asked Scott what he thought. He was clearly frustrated. Wholesalers are blaming the rising costs on tariffs, which means he has to raise prices too. He called it BS and said he hates charging customers more. Just wanted to give a shout-out to one of the good guys—an honest, hardworking small business owner who truly looks out for his customers. Thanks Scott!

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Haviland Auto Repair on April 21, 2025, around 3:45 PM, and I feel compelled to warn others about the unprofessional behavior of the owner, Scott DeLucca, and his uncle. I walked in for a New York State vehicle inspection, a service they advertise, but from the moment I arrived, Scott was dismissive. He immediately assumed, “You’re probably here for an inspection, that’s the only time you come,” which set a negative tone. Before I could even respond, his uncle chimed in, bringing up an irrelevant issue about tires I supposedly didn’t pick up two or three years ago. What does that have to do with my inspection?
